Julien Tabet Imagines Dystopian Future without Famous Brands in His 3D Illustrations

Coca-Cola, Facebook, Netflix—these are just some of many famous brands that most modern people can’t imagine living without, but Julien Tabet decided to try. He drew a series of illustrations that take us to the dystopian future where these brands became relics of the past.

Tabet is a French digital artist, with over 260,000 Instagram followers, but his dystopian illustrations weren’t the only ones to put him on the map. He’s best known for his unique animal illustrations that push the laws of nature, blending reality and fantasy into one.

Tabet became a true sensation since he started sharing his photo manipulations with the world in 2017, and he’s been experimenting with many different styles in the years to come. He’s been busy learning the basics of 3D composition and modeling in recent years, and he’s been sharing his experimental works on his second Instagram page @julien.beta.

In one of his most popular recent series, Tabet imagined a dystopian future where some of the brands we all know and love today—such as Netflix, YouTube, Nike, and Apple—have long been forgotten.

“I’ve always had a fascination for post-apocalyptic environments where nature has taken over our cities. So I imagined a world in which some of the major brands of this world have been abandoned and are just some memories of a past civilization,” Tabet told Bored Panda.
