Kim mostly specializes in making buttercream cakes and cupcakes, and she embarked on this journey because she was enchanted by buttercream’s potential to turn into all kinds of elegant flowers. Her show-stopping desserts come in all colors of the rainbow, but she seems to prefer neutral, pastel colors that give them a special charm.
Kim is very passionate about sharing her craft with other passionate bakers. She became one of the most prestigious flower cake instructors in Korea since she started sharing her technique by giving flower cake lessons. She also published a book called Korean Decorating Art, sharing her secrets with people who aren’t able to attend her classes.
