Statement rugs experienced a true boom in recent years and helped many TikTokers find viral fame with their offbeat designs. Madeline Ronzoni of Happy Rugs is one of them, and her rugs have the power to put a smile on your face and make every room in your house truly pop.
Ronzoni started designing her custom rugs in 2020, and her background in marketing helped her put her brand on the map. Before starting Happy Rugs, she studied at Bentley University in Massachusetts and worked as the vice president of marketing for the TEDx events on campus.
Her life turned upside down during the pandemic when she discovered her passion for punch needle embroidery and making TikTok videos, and she decided to mix these two hobbies into one.
“I am inspired by the simple things that make me happy, like boba tea and flowers. I enjoy pushing the boundaries of non-traditional rugs and experimenting new designs with my tufting gun. I hope my rugs make you as happy as they make me!” she explains on her official website.
Ronzoni’s brand Happy Rugs became an overnight sensation, and she attracted over a million followers across several social media platforms and worked with such brands as Nike, Vans, McDonald’s, and many more.
