It should be noted that Kaden, unlike Addie, is actually a pet therapy dog. This is pretty mind blowing when you consider how lovable he already seems on the surface. After digging deeper, the ability to provide therapy for those in need is an impressive skill for anyone to have, let alone a dog. Perhaps has also contributed to their massive popularity. ]]>Now, we have seen dogs swimming with their owners, riding boats, and even surfing. But one recent video recorded in Castanhal, Para, Brazil, shows that dogs also like to go down waterslides.
The clip shows a little dog barking at someone to get out of its way on the top of the waterslide. When the person doesn’t move, the dog jumps and gives them a little push before proceeding to run down the slide.
As it turns out, going down the waterslide isn’t anything new for this adventurous dog. According to its owner, the 8-year-old canine has been enjoying this activity since she was a pup. The dog also learned how to keep herself safe, which allows its human to be comfortable bringing her along.
“She likes to be around us and doesn’t go there without us being together,” the owner shared. “In all that time, she has never been hurt or jumped out.”

]]>Don’t take it from us. His 2 million followers on Instagram have sworn allegiance to his Derpiness. “If you could use a little bit of joy & laughter, you’ve come to the right place!”, reads his Instagram bio.
“This unconventional-looking dog is being used to bring joy and make people happy,” Tuna’s mother, Courtney Dasher, went on to say in an interview with Vice. Indeed, some followers have gone as far as to tattoo Tuna’s face on their bodies. Others, send in photoshopped images of the dog, showcasing his best angles.
According to Dasher she was actually taken aback by some of the reactions her pup got. “One woman showed up to a book signing who had agoraphobia—she hadn’t left her house in years,” she shared. “This woman got over her fear, just to meet Tuna!”
Tuna also makes the case for “adopt don’t shop”. The strange (albeit lovely) looking dog was adopted by Dasher at a Farmers Market in LA in 2010, when he was but a four-month-old puppy. According to Dasher, she opened his Instagram page a year later, with no real expectation for it to soar the way it has. “I felt like this was my opportunity to make a positive difference in the world, so I took a leap of faith,” says Dasher.

]]>The story of Loki and his owner Kelly Lund sounds straight out of a Hollywood movie. Lund was driving across the Rocky Mountains in the middle of the blizzard back in late 2012. He stumbled upon an amazing pup, who was husky/arctic wolf/malamute mix, and decided to take him home.
Lund took Loki on many adventures by his side and decided to start sharing photos from their escapades on social media. What started as a fun side project for Lund turned into the creation of one of Instagram’s top pet accounts, amassing almost two million followers.
“Many dogs spend their whole lives in backyards and my goal with Loki was to take him everywhere that I possibly could with me. Combining the popularity of outdoor and adventure Instagram with the pet Instagram world has allowed our account to really take off,” Lund told Alpha Universe.
In addition to being a social media star, Loki struck sponsorship deals with many high-profile companies. You might’ve seen him in commercials for Mercedes, but his collaborators also include Google, GoPro, and Toyota.

]]>This is the story of a stray dog named Speedy, who was found lying and shivering in cold water surrounded by cobblestones. When his rescuer Phadera took him to the vet, they found out that he couldn’t use his back legs and never will. She was given two options, to put him down or to provide Speedy a wheelchair. And guess what Phadera choose? A wheelchair, of course. And Speedy was so happy when he realized he could walk and run again.
Although the rescuer fell in love with him, she knew that Mexico wasn’t the right place for him: the roads are made of cobblestones, and there aren’t any kind of dog parks. That’s when she decided that Speedy’s life will continue in California.
Then Debbie came into the picture. She was a dog trainer and already had a wheelchair dog. “Since Speedy’s been in California, he’s really blossomed. He loves every second of it.”
Now Speedy plays happily with other dogs on the beach and has an Instagram fan-base. He also goes to therapy and his legs have proven so much! Check him out!

(@thelifeofqueso)“Queso is great at posing (if treats are involved) so it doesn’t take too long to get a good picture,” shared his momager, Sarah McVey, in an interview with Swooft. “I like to consider the timing of the post and if there’s a good holiday or trending topic to partake in, but for the most part it’s all about his normal life and activities.” Those activities include digging at the beach, eating treats (with an emphasis on cheddar cheese), and kissing strangers.
Being a rescue dog, Queso has one of those “rags to riches” sort of tales. According to his now-owner, Queso was first housed in an Alabama shelter, but was lost after a flood hit the shelter. After the flood, a rescue mission carried by the Almost Home Foundation had brought Queso, alongside other stranded dogs, to Chicago.
“We first met at a foster’s home who was watching Queso while he was up for adoption,” shared McVey. “He had rashes on his belly, kennel cough, and an ear infection, but he was still smiling and happy to see us!”. Luckily, those sad days are long over and done with.
His celebrity status means that Queso has quickly outgrown his humble beginnings. These days, he is gaining fans by the hour, and McVey admits to being excited. “Queso was recognized at the airport by a stranger and it was the most exciting day ever!” she shared.

]]>Being tiny, as it turns out, is actually Cedric’s selling point. Most photos and videos show him standing against other items, comparing sizes. In a video comparing him to different-sized fruit, Cedric can be seen towering over a mango (but only by a bit). Alas, in another video (an Easter special), Cedric seems quite small compared to a giant Kinder egg.
It’s this kind of funny/heart warming content that shot Cedric to fame. But according to his owner, life wasn’t so easy on the tiny Instagram star.
“I was the last puppy left in the litter that no one wanted, because I have a severe overbite,” admitted Cedric in a mock interview with Dog Whisperer HQ. “My humans knew my biological father and that’s how they learned about me. They had been wanting a small dog that they could easily travel with.”
“When they first saw me in person, they were surprised,” adds the pooch. “I had seemed much bigger in the photos and videos. They were terrified that they would accidentally step on me or hurt me. We got to know each other over a few weeks and they stopped worrying as they saw I was very smart and careful.”

]]>Here to inspire our summer outfits is Remix the dog, AKA the Stylish Bearded Pupster. With a nickname like that, you can expect the most fashionable of attires to pop up in his Instagram feed. And indeed, recent takes on summer trends include Remix sporting Hawaiin shirts (a vacation staple) and an incredible collection of shades, ranging in shape and color.
“His collection of Hawaiian shirts work well in the Miami weather,” his owner, Chris Ha, shared in an interview with Django. “He is sort of known for sporting sunglasses. When I put them on his head, he freezes in place, which is actually perfect for taking photos.”
Based in Toronto, Canada, the Miniature Schnauzer’s sense of fashion has taken him around the world—from Israel to Puerto Rico. He has also been featured time and time again in fashion magazines like ELLE, Glamour, and Mr. Porter—getting the official stamp of approval from the fashion scene.
“When I first started Remix’s account, I spent a lot more time on it,” says Ha. “Now, I spend 3 to 4 hours a week on it. I shoot a lot of content ahead of time. Whenever I am, I take photos or videos in a few different ways. Then I post it as I go, so I do not have to focus on it constantly.”

]]>When her owner Asa took home two kittens to foster, Chester and Blair, Kona took them under her wing. Soon, their bond became unbreakable.
“I think maybe she sensed that these two were a lot more reserved and undersocialized than the other kittens we’ve fostered recently. She really has the magic touch,” Asa told in an interview for Bored Panda.
Asa then added that the two kittens are still shy and afraid of her, but when they see Kona, they immediately run to her.
“Blair used to try to nurse on Kona the first couple of weeks, I’m not sure if it was Blair’s way of finding comfort in this new environment, but Kona just patiently laid and let her nibble on her.”
Asa has been a foster mom to an astonishing 173 animals, mostly cats and dogs. She loves having animals in her home, and through fostering, she gives back to the animals. Clearly, her dog Kona loves having lots of companions as well!

]]>Case in point: Einstein. A five-year-old Havanese rescue pup, Einstein (who also goes by the name Panda), has amassed an impressive following online, thanks to his charming personality and equally charming smile. According to his owner, Havanese dogs are generally very friendly and affectionate and are considered great lap dogs. They’re also fairly easy to train.
“If Einstein could only do one thing for the rest of his life, it would be sitting in my lap kissing my face,” joked the pupper’s owner in an interview with Hello Bark!. “He is loyal almost to a fault, and attached to my heels wherever we go.”
A fan of chickens, Einstein’s hobbies include playing chase, cuddles, and meeting new people. His dislikes, says his owner, are rain, fireworks, and angry people. “He is happy, friendly, and goofy! He loves to play with his dog and people friends alike, is a serious cuddler and with me, is absolutely the stereotypical ‘velcro dog.’”
He has also become known for his rainbow-colored tail. But with so much fur, his profuse coat needs to be thoroughly combed at least twice per week. Talk about upkeep!
