Teacher Amazes the Internet With His “Gen Z Term Dictionary”

One California high school teacher recently amazed the internet with his creative approach to teaching. The teacher, who goes by Larry Lexicon on TikTok, decided to make a PowerPoint presentation for his students in which he goes through a list of terms used by Generation Z and his definitions for them.

As it turns out, the teacher has been paying attention to the terms used by students throughout the school year and ended up making a “Gen Z term dictionary.” He presented his findings at a class, with the excerpt being shared on his TikTok.

“All year long, I’ve been listening to you and making a list, which I’ve compiled here for you—the Gen Z term dictionary,” says the teacher in the video.

He then proceeded to say that he made explanations for each term on his own and asked students to tell him whether they were accurate or needed some revision. Some of the terms featured in “Gen Z term dictionary” include:

  • Bruh — alternative for “bro”
  • Rizz — Ability to charm/ To have charisma
  • Bussin’ — Good (in regards to food)

After the first video started circling on social media, the teacher uploaded part two, in which he featured terms like Baddie, Gyatt, and Getting Sturdy.

The response to the videos was overwhelmingly positive, and the teacher now intends to make more “Gen Z term dictionary” entries. He is open to suggestions, and we believe the internet alongside his students will give him plenty of material.
