These are the Things You Should Never Use in a Hotel Room

Hotel rooms are always a gamble because you never know what you might walk into. Even if the room looks spotless, there is a chance it has some hidden “nastiness,” according to a viral TikTok video.

A while back, TikToker Angela Riihiluoma decided to share some “top secrets” about hotel rooms that were passed onto her by one hotel employee. And we believe that they are just as relevant today as they were back then, so we decided to share them with you. But be warned, they are not pretty.

According to Riihiluoma’s first video, which reached more than 1.1 million likes, the first two things you should avoid using in the hotel are the coffee machine and glasses in the bathroom. She explains that there were instances in which some people used the coffee machine as a urinal while the cleaning staff don’t have enough time to wash the glasses, so they simply wipe them with glass cleaner.

Following the success of the first video, Riihiluoma shared several more hotel room tips in follow-up videos. She warned other internet users not to use ice buckets as people often use them for vomiting if they had too much to drink during the night out. Also, discard the top bed cover as it is rarely washed.
