Lately, we have seen a large number of artists and designers deciding to team up with artificial intelligence to create some really impressive works. One of them is a visual artist and architect Frank Jacobus, who used an AI program Midjourney to create a series of stylish chairs inspired by fruit.
The collaboration resulted in some seriously impressive designs that many of us would like to own. For example, the grape chairs would perfectly fit in a household leaning towards a futuristic interior style. They also seem like they would be quite comfy, thanks to the fact that they follow the shape and form of a grape cluster.
Still, not all the designs seem practical. Pineapple chairs seem like they would be quite uncomfortable and even dangerous due to all the spikes.
“The visual answers that the AI produced were fun sitting options that would be terrific chairs to physically produce. I even imagine the chairs having a subtle aroma of the fruit from which they were derived,” Jacobus explained in a recent chat with Stir Pad.
