When Deborah Lynn was only 12 years old she found her dream home—a 100-year-old Victorian house that looked out of a fairy tale. Since then she dreamed of owning it. She’d always been fascinated by the charm and character of older homes and yearned for the opportunity to own one.
“I remember standing and thinking that one day I would own that house…. fast forward 25 years and now I live here,” she says on her blog.
Despite the fact that the house needed a lot of work, Lynn was undeterred. She was determined to update her new home to its former glory, and spent countless hours and a significant amount of money bringing the house back to life.
