Two Sisters Started a Fashion Brand Inspired By the Iconic Novel “Little Women”

Little Women went down in history as one of the most iconic coming-of-age novels of all time and it’s still inspiring artists to this day. Two sisters were so moved by Louisa May Alcott’s story of the March sisters that they decided to start a fashion brand called Little Women Atelier.

LTW is a brainchild of sisters Luiza and Julia, who grew up surrounded by needlework and domestic warmth thanks to their grandma and mother. They would hand-make clothes for them, from sewed dresses to knitted woolen cardigans, and this duo decided to go down the same road when they grew up and became mothers themselves.

Drawing inspiration from the March sisters, they decided to work together and created the ultimate cottagecore brand: Little Women Atelier. With this family business, they set out on a mission to create a safe haven for the women who are in the rush and haste of the modern world, using sustainable, natural fabrics every step of the way.

“Our dresses are not just garments. They are a tradition passed from mother to daughter. The tradition to keep warm at home, have the courage to go your own way, to love and be loved, and always remain beautiful,” reads the brand’s official website.
