Calling artist Alessio Franceschetto a Photoshop expert would be an understatement. This London-based creative is able to manipulate photos with such expertise and in such a mind-bending way that the viewer starts questioning everything they know about the world that surrounds them.
Most of Franceschetto’s photo manipulations are focused on the surreal. There are egg shells being modeled into chairs, toothbrushes with fries instead of actual brushes, and peacocks with pizza tails.
Often, Franceschetto will include a smartly-places social commentary in his works. For example, one of his photo manipulations features a smartphone equipped with a mouse trap, which is obviously inspired by modern society’s obsession with the digital world and technology.
“As an artist, I’m inspired to explore and create surreal photo manipulations as a means of expressing my imagination, pushing the boundaries of reality, and offering a unique perspective on the world around me,” Franceschetto shared in a recent post on Bored Panda.
Franceschetto found a lot of success with his works. His creations were featured in influential art magazines, while art enthusiasts buy prints of his photo manipulations to hang on their walls.
