Many hairstylists on TikTok and Instagram are trying to teach us how to take our hairstyles to the next level, and Ceren Sagtekin is one of the very best.
Sagtekin was born and raised in Turkey before moving to California with her husband about seven years ago. Her background doesn’t have much to do with hairstyling, and she did many different jobs before finding success as a content creator, with over 200,000 followers on Instagram and 300,000 more on TikTok.
She has almost a decade of experience working in the fashion industry, and she used to be an assistant manager at Ralph Lauren before the pandemic. She also briefly worked as a flight attendant during her college years, but life took her in a completely different direction once she moved to the US.
Even though her hairstyling videos are watched by thousands of people, she’s not thinking about opening her own salon because she’s not a hairstylist and doesn’t enjoy doing other people’s hair. She’s more interested in filming her tutorials, editing them together, and seeing how much joy they bring to other people.
