Italian Artist Hand-Paints a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ

Lamborghini Aventador SVJs are one of the most expensive sports cars, with a price that can easily reach $700,000. Also, less than 1,000 units have been produced to date. But this didn’t stop one Aventador SVJ owner from making his car available as a canvas for Italian artist Elisa Chana Cecchetti.

Cecchetti is known for her unique style that she calls “InMedium Impressionism”. Inspired by traditional Impressionism art but with the use of a modern approach, the style aims to translate the “emotions and experience” of the person into art.

Cecchetti often paints her “InMedium Impressionism” artworks on the bodies of other people, and one of her recent volunteers was supercar owner Goto Manabu. He liked her style so much that he asked her to give his Lamborghini Aventador SVJ a similar treatment during a recent supercar event in Tokyo, Japan.

Faced with the unique opportunity, Cecchetti proceeded to create an impressive paint job during several live sessions. For every session, she was joined by big crowds who enjoyed seeing art in the making.

However, the artwork wasn’t permanent because the car owner later returned the car to its original color. But there are still plenty of photos left online that allow us to admire them.
