Makeup Artist Creates Illusions Picasso Would Be Jealous Of

Being only 22 years old, Romanie-Jade Tulloch has already accomplished a lot. She’s a talented makeup artist who uses her face as a canvas to make confusing illusions. She is also a Barry M Cosmetics brand ambassador and has even created a limited-edition brush set for Stigma.

The UK-based Tulloch has a big following on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram, where she is known as CakeFacerJ.

If he were alive, Picasso would probably be best friend with Tulloch, because her face often looks like she stepped off one of his paintings. Melted, sliced, or stitched up face portraits of your favorite TV show or something you could just imagine. These are the makeup looks you will find if you scroll through her Instagram or TikTok.

“Illusions create such confusion to an onlooker, and I have to admit I find it really entertaining when someone is confused by the work I’ve done when in reality it is a simple concept,” she shared in a statement. “I think that makeup can be interpreted in different ways, and I feel many are starting to realize that you don’t necessarily have to use makeup to look or feel pretty.”
