You might think of seniors as people who just want to sit on a couch or spend their days in the park the whole day. However, that is not quite true. When given the opportunity, they also like to enjoy some fun activities.
Content creator Isaiah Garza recently uploaded a heartwarming video on his TikTok that documented one 100-year-old’s trip to Disneyland. The clip shows Garza approaching a stranger in the park and asking him whether he would like to visit Disneyland with him.
After having a hard time believing Garza is serious about his offer, the man accepts and goes on to have an amazing day. The two went on rides, indulged in ice cream, danced, took photos with Disney characters, and did all the other things that make Disneyland such a fantastic experience.
“This is one of the best days of my life,” said the 100-year-old at one point. “I thought my life was over for a long time. You don’t know how much I appreciate this.”
This amazing video quickly went viral, receiving 16 million views, 3.3 million likes, and close to 100K comments in just three days.
The success of the video also prompted Garza to ask his followers should he and the 100-year-old do a series of videos together. Sounds like something we would definitely like to see happening. In the meantime, check out the original video below.
