Anyone who has yet to hear about the powers of AI art, let alone experiment with it, is in for a real treat. People, like this Instagrammer Mikki, who have given AI art software a whirl have learned something quite interesting—you can actually make original artwork using artificial intelligence. But how exactly does this work?
Most AI art software applications work more or less the same. It asks the user to type in a description of what they’d like the program to create visually. They then ask the user to add all sorts of stylistic criteria, such as color scheme preference, style of era, mood, the list goes on and on. Finally, the AI “draws” a picture according to the measures that were inputted.
As you can see from Mikki’s original AI art, which the artist claims they only do “to waste time”, anything is possible. The artwork that Mikki has made using AI is a bit odd—but pretty darn interesting at the same time. To be honest, we’ve never seen anything quite like it, and that’s a pretty bold statement considering it was made without anyone putting a pencil on a piece of paper.
