Becoming a parent is both beautiful and tiring. However, not many parents want to share their struggles because they don’t want to be judged by other moms and dads. But not Natasha. Also known as Heartily Art on social media, The Netherlands-based mom of two little girls likes illustrating her life—including all the ups and downs she goes through every day.
Being into drawing, painting, and everything art-related, Natasha always loved making people laugh, especially her parents, who would frequently receive a surprise illustration on their agendas. However, the idea of her Instagram account started during her pregnancy with her second daughter.
“I was home, taking care of a baby and a toddler, and just had the urge of drawing all things I was going through. It was my escape from the daily stress, and later I found out that it was also a great way to connect with other parents going through the same,” she wrote on her website.
She also added that she was super excited that many moms and dads could relate and that she wasn’t the only one struggling. If you enjoy her work, Natasha has an online shop where you can purchase posters, postcard sets, and greeting cards that she’s made.
