In Gordon’s own words, Selkie designs are “fanciful, nostalgic and extra romantic”, and her love for folklore and mythology had an important impact on her creative journey. She wanted everyone who puts on one of her dresses to feel like their true selves, just like selkies from old Scottish myths.
