Australia-based textile artist Tammy Kanat creates beautiful wall hangings using wool and other natural materials like silk and linen. She starts with a steel frame that gives structure to her pieces and fills it with rows of material in concentric circles until she’s satisfied with the result. Each piece is unique in shape, colors, and texture.
“My process has become more intricate with a connected sense of freedom and experimentation. I am working with 3D shapes and continually pushing the boundaries of colours, textures and the unexpected,” she tells This is Colossal.
