Teachers definitely don’t get enough credit for everything they do. Besides educating kids, they also have the responsibility of providing them with a safe environment in which they can thrive and be at their best. And many of them take this role seriously, as one recent viral TikTok clip shows.
In the video, a middle school teacher is seen rushing down the school hallway to check out the commotion that is coming from one of the classrooms. Once she enters, she sees kids gathered in a circle and shouting.
Instinctively, the teacher attempts to break what seems to be a fight but is met with a huge surprise. Instead of kids fighting, she finds a man on one knee with an engagement ring in his hand.
“Will you marry me?” the man asks.
The teacher immediately responds: “Yes,” after which the entire classroom breaks into loud cheers.
This amazing video quickly became viral, getting close to 6 million views in just a week and attracting thousands of comments from TikTok users.
“I just love the way he incorporated the kids and made them a part of it….priceless,” one user wrote.
