Toronto, Canada, based Wask Studio has a reputation for designing quirky and cool products. Their latest creation, a coffee mug that “cries,” is no different.
Named Flooded With Emotions Mug, the coffee mug will start shedding coffee tears when you overfill it. This ensures users will be extra cautious of pouring too much coffee since making your “emotional” mug cry is not the best way to start your day.
The crying effect is achieved by positioning two small holes near the brim to form a smiley face. Once the coffee reaches the holes, the mug starts crying and causing a real mess, as demonstrated in Wask’s social media video.
The design of the Flooded With Emotions Mug makes drinking a bit challenging as well. You can only drink from the backside, as drinking on the side with a smiley face guarantees a stained shirt.
This unique coffee mug comes as “right-handed only” at the moment, but lefties should get their own version in the second batch. Like all Wask products, they can only be purchased on their official website.
