Deer are usually cautious of humans and tend to run away when they see us. However, a recent viral TikTok video shows that they can get comfortable around people if they feel comfortable or spot them doing some fun activity like jumping in a rain puddle.
TikTok user @harrisweldingandfriends posted a clip that shows a group of kids jumping into a huge puddle on a rainy day. But it turns out they are not the only ones wanting to have a go. A wild deer also started doing splashes and joined in on the fun.
This awesome clip quickly spread across social media, gaining close to 15 million views in one week. Other TikTok users were thrilled with the scene and went on to express their thoughts in the comments section.
“The deer got so excited just to play with the kids in the water. Love this,” one user commented.
As it turns out, the deer in the video lives in a nearby forest and has developed a friendship with @harrisweldingandfriends, who occasionally gives him food. The wild animal even responds to the name Scar, given to him by the TikToker. Check out more of their videos below.
