Xiao Yao Saaf, who goes by @xiaoyao_ya on Instagram, specializes in micro crochet because she likes small and beautiful things.
“Nature’s flowers are my models. I crochet them with white thin yarn and then dye them by hand. The dyeing process is like watching a flower grow and bloom in your hand. Unless otherwise stated, everything is crocheted with French DMC crochet yarn,” she explains on her official website.
Even though she doesn’t share detailed crocheting tutorials, her Instagram posts are very informative. She always lists the names of flowers that inspired her work, often listing the crochet hooks, as well.
