Teona, aka The Language Blondie, enjoyed mimicking accents since she was 11 or 12, and her skills significantly improved as the years went by. She is fluent in English, French, Spanish, Macedonian, and Turkish, in addition to having the incredible ability to perfectly mimic the accents in many other languages.
The Language Blondie became a viral sensation after sharing a video that shows her effortlessly switching between 12 different accents. In addition to American, British, and Australian English, she can also be heard speaking Greek, French, Russian, Spanish, Macedonian, Serbian, Indian, Turkish, and Italian in this video, which attracted millions of views on TikTok and Instagram.
Teona recommends listening to a lot of foreign music to hone your language skills and says that practice is key when it comes to mastering different accents.
“You will absolutely sound terrible in the beginning but don’t get discouraged. The important thing is to have fun with it and do your best to imitate exactly what you hear. And that comes after a lot of listening and imitating, so make sure to do the work,” she told Unilad.
