Mahum’s creations are inspired by books and all things cute, and she’s not gatekeeping her talent. Part of the reason why she attracted so many followers is her dedication to helping other people improve their crocheting skills.

According to Fletcher, he hopes his works can prompt sports audiences to take a bigger interest in creative disciplines and the creative community to consider giving sports like running a chance. The artist himself actually wasn’t a fan of sports at first but came to enjoy running as a form of exercise.
“I think there is a lot of great crossover potential between the creative community and, say, the running community, and continuing to explore what is happening on the intersecting fringes of both is really exciting,” Fletcher shared in a recent interview with It’s Nice That.

Sanchez’s digital art is colorful, complex, and unusual, so you have to wonder how he gets inspired by all of those intriguing creations. As it turns out, the answer to that question is quite simple.
“I’m inspired by everyday objects and things easily accessible to us,” Sanchez told Bored Panda in a recent interview. “But without a doubt, my main inspiration is Andy Warhol. My works are based on simple and colorful compositions like those of Warhol, but I add a touch of surrealism and concept.”
Sanchez also doesn’t complicate his creative process too much. He explains that he simply takes an object and then gives it a new meaning. It just so happens that the result ends up being quite captivating, judging by the popularity of his works on social media.

“Every type of bird has its own set of personality traits, which I try to bring out by painting them in portrait style, and by paying special attention to detail in the eyes. The fun part for me is watching their personalities come to life with each brush stroke,” the artist explains on her website.
Altschuler’s bird portraits have gained her recognition in the art community and among art collectors. Her works are currently on display in several galleries in the United States, and she plans to open her own gallery later in 2024.

]]>The orientation of sculptures created by Lawson plays a significant part in the way they are perceived by viewers. Vertical sculptures make it seem like the animals are jumping out of the rugs, trying to break free into the outside world.
Horizontal sculptures, on the other hand, feature animals blending into their surroundings, using the patterns and colors of the surface as their camouflage.
In both cases, the flat rugs both conceal and amplify the features of the animals while making these sculptures cross the line between two-dimensional and three-dimensional works.
Using traditional carpets as a surface for her works plays an important role for Lawson as the artist wants to bring their art component, which is often overlooked, to prominence.
“Sometimes my work is inspired by the hidden life of everyday objects, and other times by what I see as the aspirational side or the rebellious side,” Lawson shared ahead of her exhibition at New York City’s Sargent’s Daughters art gallery.

]]>Some of us end up giving up in hopes that we’ll randomly remember it one day. Others, like TikTok user Grace Miller, turned to internet users to help her out. And you can bet the internet delivered.
Miller originally posted a video on her TikTok profile in which she described her struggles in searching for her favorite movie from childhood. She said that she used to rent it from a library, and “now it doesn’t exist”. Her dad remembers it as well, but they can only recount “super obscure niche details”, and they were never able to track it down.
“It was animated, maybe something about a king and an “ooey gooey river” or “sticky river” once a year we spend hours searching for it,” Miller wrote in the caption of the video.

Miller’s clip quickly went viral, being watched 8.6 million times. It also prompted other TikTokers to join the search and try to help out. As it turned out, the small amount of clues Miller provided was enough for one social media user to correctly identify the movie as King Otis and the Kingdom of Goode: Phoose’s Tale of Patience.
Miller later shared a follow-up video showing her relief that the search was finally over.

Over the years, Steph collected quite an impressive assortment of the tiny treasures that were washed ashore on the local beaches, and she eventually decided to share them with the world.
“I have found every color of glass out there from the most basic colors green, white, and brown to some of the most rare red, orange, pink, yellow, and black. I’ve also found combo colors, fully intact bottles, bottle stoppers, and many beads, and marbles,” she explained on her Etsy page.
Steph initially started transforming found sea glass into jewelry, but she didn’t want the rest of her “treasures” to go to waste so she’s now also making everything from suncatchers to framed art.

The view provided by LiquidView windows isn’t cheap. A single panel comes at a cost of $25,000, while a three-panel panorama setup will set you back up to $100,000. Also, the access to the company’s library is subscription-based. A single view is priced at $59 a month, while the complete library is accessible for a monthly fee of $199.

Winston The Whale started out as a street artist, doing graffiti and murals. His street art helped him to carve out a unique style that he kept once he ventured into tattooing.
He first emerged on the tattoo scene with 3D-like tattoos that featured dizzy designs done with blue and red ink. As he honed his tattoo skills, his designs became more complex and colorful.
“I just really love colors, and as I’ve gotten better at using them, then I’ve been able to turn the style up more and make them a little bit more complex,” the artist explained in a recent interview.

]]>Fannin is now an accomplished artist who creates impressive realistic paintings of cars. Her works are a massive hit on car shows, and she has put together more than a few solo and group exhibitions. However, it took her 25 years before finally being able to do the thing she liked the most.
Intrigued by the world of art since a young age, Fannin’s initial goal was to pursue an art teaching degree for special needs children’s education. But according to her, “life had other plans.” She ended up having to put her art aspirations on hold, instead pursuing a career in marketing and becoming a business owner.
However, fast forward 25 years, Fannin began attending classic car shows with her husband and was intrigued by the sleek designs and intrigues of classic cars. Encouraged by her husband, she decided to paint a few of them and absolutely loved the experience.
Since 2015, Fannin dedicated herself full-time to painting vehicles and couldn’t be happier about it. Check out some of her works below.
