“Awkward” is the Best Short Film of the Year

Animated short film Awkward recently won the Best Short Film of the Year award at Promofest in Spain. Created by Nata Metlukh, the animation follows a bunch of characters in typical socially awkward situations that we all know too well. Metlukh is very talented for capturing relatable embarrassing moments and the style of animation makes the whole thing even more special. 

If you’ve ever experienced situations like waving back to a stranger who was actually waving to someone behind you, not knowing how to react when you get a bad haircut, or your stomach growling in public, you will love the realization that you’re not alone in those things or feelings you get about them. In fact, so many people found Awkward relatable so we can all laugh about it together!
