Most travel bloggers are exploring random places around the globe, but Emily Ventures opted for a different approach. She decided to stick around in her home country the United States, and visit every national park it has in store along the way.
The travel blog Emily Ventures was started by Emily Ann Hart and she stayed laser-focused on a very specific goal since embarking on this journey. She’s visited every U.S. state entirely on her own, and she’s now trying to explore every national park in her home country.
On her blog, Emily explains that she’s on a solo quest to visit every National Park in the United States, adding she’s visited 52 so far, in addition to five more in Canada. When she’s not on the road traveling the U.S. in her converted SUV, she enjoys teaching math, practicing yoga, writing long Instagram captions, and oil painting.
That number rose since she wrote her “about me” page, and her Instagram bio now reads that she visited 58 national parks in the U.S.—and she even has an all-time favorite!
“I think all around I really love the Grand Tetons. It’s a mix of things because it’s not super close to me, but I could get there on a weekend. It has good swimming too, there’s boating, mountains, hiking. It’s also near Jackson, so it’s not too remote,” she told Uproxx.
