Man Rents Times Square Video Screen to Play a Clip of Himself Eating a Slice of Bread

It turns out that you can rent one of those huge video screens at New York City’s Times Square and play any video you want for just $40. One man from Scotland decided to take advantage of the bargain in order to play a clip of himself eating a slice of bread.

Darren Dowling, better known as @yerboidazza on TikTok, is a familiar face on social media, where he posts videos of various food challenges. But it turns out that he is also a big fan of watching live cameras of different cities, which is how he stumbled upon the TSX app, which allows users to rent a time slot on Times Square video screen.

Dowling absolutely loved the idea and decided to include his Instagram followers in the stunt. He asked them about the ideas for the clips he should play on Times Square, and the one that he liked the most was to eat a slice of bread.

After uploading the clip on the platform and picking out the time slot, TikToker then got in touch with a man named Ryan, who was in New York City at the time and was willing to record the entire thing. Ryan even arrived 40 minutes early to get the perfect spot.

Dowling ended up posting the entire stunt on TikTok, drawing a flood of positive comments from impressed users.
