Man Watches Movies from His Childhood and Gives Hilarious Recaps

Just because you liked a movie or a TV show when you were a kid doesn’t mean you would like it if you watched it again today. That is what TikToker Rob Anderson learned when he started rewatching movies from his childhood.

Anderson was surprised at how different his beloved childhood movies seemed from an adult perspective, so he started sharing short recaps on TikTok. These recaps are quite relatable and funny, regularly getting millions of views.

For example, Anderson now thinks that 2001’s coming-of-age flick The Princess Diaries “doesn’t make sense.” According to him, there are more than a few issues with the movie, including a single mom, who is an artist, living with her daughter in a three-story house in San Francisco, European royalty getting her education at a state school, and Genovia’s Independence Ball taking place at a consulate

Sports comedy-drama The Mighty Ducks also hasn’t aged well, in Anderson’s opinion. There are a lot of plot holes, starting from a lawyer getting punished for DUI by coaching a youth league hockey team to a figure skater suddenly becoming a great hockey player.

So far, Anderson rewatched several classics from the 90s and early 2000s, including Beethoven and Beethoven’s 2nd, 3 Ninjas, and the teen series 7th Heaven. Check out more of his hilarious recaps below.
