Marie-Laure Cruschi is a French graphic designer and illustrator who runs a studio called Cruschiform. After founding it in 2007, her work has caught the attention of major companies and tens of thousands of Instagram followers.
She uses two main elements to express her unique style: color and shapes. Her style has changed and evolved over time, but her old illustrations, just like the new ones, have a solid structure and feature geometric shapes. She finishes her art with a carefully chosen color palette that features a lot of blue and green shades.
Ultimately, it’s all about combing masterful technique with sheer inventiveness, and this is something she possesses with flying colors.
“Little by little, my graphic vocabulary gets more and more figurative, driving me to new narratives territories, without losing sight that I believe the best work is a combination of a keenness of mind, great know-how, a good dose of insight and a bit of malice,” the artist writes on her website.
