O’Rourke hails from the Pacific Northwest, and she’s currently based in Québec, Canada. She thought about exploring the world after finishing high school, but fear got in the way, so she decided to take a few business courses and got a diploma in Holistic Nutrition.
These experiences left her unfulfilled, so she decided to leave it all behind and embark on a short journey that turned into an adventure of a lifetime.
“Over 3 years ago, I decided to drop everything, quit my job and travel the world for 4 months in hopes that I would find myself. Fast forward to today, and with hard work and consistency, I’ve turned my passion into my full-time job,” she explains on her travel blog.
O’Rourke’s Instagram page is now followed by over 450,000 people and we’ve seen her travel everywhere from Iceland to New Zealand in recent years. She mostly focuses on visiting destinations where you can explore the great outdoors and become one with nature.
