Mila Povoroznyuk Dresses Like She Lives In the 19th Century

Petticoats, elegant hats, gloves, parasols, and whimsical jewelry. These are the fashion items and accessories that Mila Povoroznyuk likes to wear. Also known as Your Sunny Flowers on Instagram, this Ukrainian fashionista became famous thanks to her unique style. This is because she dresses just like ladies from the 19th century!

Her wardrobe began to slowly change a decade ago, when she was allowed to wear throwback outfits while taking part in various events. However, she got so attached to that style that she decided to wear vintage outfits regularly.

“The first piece of clothing in the style of the 19th century, which I started wearing in my everyday life, was a blue autumn coat. It was made eight years ago. I naturally started selecting harmonious things that would go with it. My wardrobe was gradually filling with vintage items,” Povoroznyuk recalled to Bored Panda, adding that she mostly sews her outfits, but buys from flea markets as well.

Although Povoroznyuk likes large dresses, poke bonnets, and modest coverings—outfits popularized in the Victorian era—her favorite looks are based on Edwardian fashion, from the late 1890s to the beginning of World War I.
