Lately, we have been enjoying the landscapes created by Olivia Seetim. This British artist captures the scenic nature of tall mountains, green plains, waterfalls, and lush forests in an impressive way. Her acrylic paintings have just the right balance of realism and a dreamlike vibe, creating a window to the destinations everyone would like to transport to.
According to Seetim, her goal is to make paintings feel familiar and safe but also adventurous and an invitation to explore.
“The landscapes that inspire me the most range from dense forests to vast expanses of ocean,” Seetim shared with My Modern Met. “Also, astrophotography is something I deeply admire, and is where I get a lot of my ideas for galaxy landscapes.”
Over the course of her artistic journey, Olivia Seetim experimented with various mediums and techniques. Her latest passion is acrylics, which she uses to paint her landscapes on various materials, including canvas, cloth, recycled paper, wood panels, and more.
