]]>In footage captured by a security camera, a woman named Anne Hughes can be seen standing in front of the Best One convenience store in the Welsh village of Tonteg. Suddenly, the shop shutter begins to lift and takes Hughes in the air as her jacket gets stuck on it. The woman, who works as a cleaner in the shop, ends up dangling in the air for a few moments before a member of the staff rushes out of the store to help her out.
Hughes was fortunately unharmed, and the clip received more than two million views on TikTok.
After the video went viral, Tee2Sugars immortalized the scene on the same shutter that was responsible for the incident. According to the artist, Hughes liked the piece and was “good sport” about it.
“It’s not something that’s going to change her life but it’s a funny moment that’s going to be remembered for ever,” Tee2Sugars told British media outlet Guardian.

]]>Cheone’s works are special not only because he efficiently manages to produce a 3D effect on a 2D surface. The talented artist often incorporates urban surroundings into his works or makes the murals interact with them in a way that enhances their effect.
Cheone grew up surrounded by art and was a very talented painter at a young age. However, once he discovered graffiti, he immediately fell in love with it and decided to make street art his life’s calling.
According to Cheone, he gravitated specifically toward 3D street art because he wanted to make his murals unique and captivating while challenging himself as an artist.
“The idea was born from the desire to get out of the box, and in all my designs I try to send messages of unease, the joy of life and what surrounds me,” Cheone explained in a recent interview.

]]>Fabio’s approach is a testament to creative innovation in street art. By incorporating living trees into his portraits, he brings a dynamic and organic element to his work. The trees add not just a three-dimensional aspect but also a sense of life and growth to the static images.
The process of creating these artworks is as fascinating as the result. The artist has to carefully select locations where the natural growth of the trees aligns with his artistic vision. He paints each stroke with the tree in mind.
Beyond its visual appeal, this art form is a profound commentary on the relationship between humans and nature. And what a great reminder that beauty can be found in the most unexpected places and ways.

]]>Millo’s murals usually focus on curious characters caught in the middle of exploring the world that surrounds them. They have surreal moments to them, as each character is shown a lot bigger compared to the structures they interact with. The artist shows them exploring houses, carefully watching events unfold, or simply finding a comfy spot between the buildings and letting their thoughts wander.
According to Millo, while his works might seem like they follow a common theme, every one of them is inspired by something different, whether it is a world event or something he experienced.
“As you’ll notice, scrolling through the pages of my works, all of them convey different messages. Most of the time, they depend on the places where I’m painting,” Millo shared in a recent chat with Colossal.
Millo murals have found home around the world, from his native Italy to the United States, Australia, Thailand, Argentina, and Morocco, among other countries. He also frequently shares his newest pieces on social media. Check out more of them below.

Some of Karlgren’s artwork ends up being offered on his website, but a large part of it ends up on the street as a way to give some life to the urban surroundings. For example, there are more than 500 of his artworks scattered around his hometown.
In a chat with Urban Nation, Karlgren revealed that he got an art degree but initially decided to focus on skating and video games. He only returned to art when he started beading with his kids and now enjoys every moment of it.
Karlgren’s main source of inspiration is video games, but there are all sorts of other things that he likes to capture with beads.
“Also movies from the eighties, stuff that Trump is doing, and political events,” he shared. “Generally, I enjoy doing stuff that is up to date.”

]]>This mural is a part of Josifovski’s series “Usreci se” aka “Be Happy”. He’s a Serbian street artist and architect, who attracted almost Instagram 50,000 followers with his street and performance art. On his official website, Josifovski explains he’s trying to send “inspiring messages through murals all over the world.”
His latest artwork started with a little girl and her grandpa looking at one of his “be happy” murals, shaped like a yellow smiley face. The image of the two standing in front of the mural was so striking that he decided to paint the photo of the duo over the same wall in Belgrade, Serbia.
Many people came to see it in the flash, including Natalija and Slobodan—the granddaughter-grandfather duo from the mural. Josifovski even posted a photo of the two looking at the mural, writing, “Dan you imagine my happiness when I saw a little girl Natalija and her grandfather Slobodan looking at themselves on the wall…?!”

“The hardest part is not repeating myself over time,” he shared in an interview with Bored Panda. “I always try to create something new. Sometimes animals come back in my paintings, but I’m usually trying to find something that best suits the wall. I need to paint without always doing the same; it’s quite difficult over time.”

]]>Xomatok opted to do several interventions on Mexico City street cracks, painting them in various vibrant colors. The cracks, caused by the force of the tree roots trying to escape the pavement, were transformed into an eye-catching art installation thanks to a mixture of green, yellow, pink, and blue. The entire thing almost resembles a rainbow spill.
“This series of interventions brings us closer to a conscious experience in the streets through the intervention of the cracks in the concrete that reveal the force of nature present in urban life, an allusion to the unveiling of other realities that exist in parallel to it,” the artist shared about the project.
Xomatok made a total of five Manifestos artworks, with each one being open to the public to admire it. If you are currently in Mexico City, don’t miss the opportunity to visit the Roma Norte neighborhood and check them out in person.
