It’s been 15 years since the first Twilight movie came out, and the popularity of this franchise isn’t fading away. The popular vampire saga has taken on a life of its own on social media thanks to countless hilarious memes and viral clips – including Yasmine Sahid’s funny videos.
Sahid did a lot of theatre in school while growing up in Milwaukee, WI, and decided to pursue BA in theatre after moving to Los Angeles. She had a huge reality check after finishing school and realized how tough it would be to make it as an actress, so she decided to take things into her own hands.
She started using TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube to showcase her acting talent through a series of funny and relatable sketches, including her “main character” series.
“Everyone thinks they’re the main character when not everyone can be the main character. So it’s just kind of like poking fun of myself and having those moments where you feel like everyone’s looking at you. And just basking in the delusion because, why not? Like is so short,” she told Mashable Middle East.
Sahid’s content is pretty versatile, but she’s probably best known for her viral videos inspired by the Twilight saga. Jasper Hale is her favorite character, and she created her own version of a brooding vampire that became a huge hit on social media.
